See Australia’s Oldest Flying Aircraft – in Walcha!

Step back in time when David and Carolyn Salter bring their 1925 de Havilland DH60 Gipsy Moth to Walcha Airport. This remarkable plane is Australia’s oldest registered flying aircraft and the second oldest Gipsy Moth still flying in the world.

  • Enjoy a close-up look at this remarkable piece of aviation heritage, along with other aircraft on site.
  • Sausage sizzle and soft drinks will be available.
  • Please note: there will be no flying during public viewing (as per CASA regulations).

Bring the family, grab a sausage, and don’t miss this rare opportunity to see a true centenarian of the skies!
