Extra_info : Goodcom Communications Shopfront. Created and installed as part of the 2007 Shopfront Awning Post Workshop. Artists and technicians designed and carved more than thirty posts during a ten-day workshop in Walcha to replace the old awning posts of six shopfronts.
The artwork plaques for works were made possible by the Foundation for Rural & Regional Renewal (FRRR)’s
Strengthening Rural Communities Program, supported by Arts North West.
We acknowledge the Traditional Owners of the Walcha region and recognise their continuing connection to land, water and community.
