Golden Gate Campdraft

Held annually in January

A four day annual campdraft event held at Walcha Showground.

Hosting one of the best supported campdrafts in the circuit, the Golden Gate Campdraft is a fabulous spectators’ event with non-stop action.  Experience first hand the amazing horsemanship and stock handling ability of these skilled riders and stock’wam’ (women and men).  Steering a lone beast through an obstacle course with their only artillery being their trusty steed.  Speed, agility, a good eye, good horse and stock sense will be attributes of the finalists and winners at this event.  An age old Australian bush sport, and an event not to be missed.
