Walcha won the Arts NSW Regional Acquisition Program prize of $20,000 worth of Art acquired from Sculptures by the Sea exhibition which enabled the subsequent installation of 'Goulburn River Landscape' by Paul Bacon and 'The Figure in the Landscape' by John Petrie.
