Using ceramic tiles made by Walcha Central School art students, a mosaic depicting an eclectic steam of water and life was created. Set into the top of the footpath wall on the new bridge (2006) spanning the Apsley River.

THE ARTISTS:
Both local to Walcha;
Stephen King is a renowned sculptor and artist in the Australian art scene.
Myfanwy Gullifer is known for her bright eccentric ceramics often with an often-comedic representation.

Strengthening Rural Communities Program, supported by Arts North West.
