Extra_info : THE MAQUETTES The maquettes were created as proposals for the Walcha roundabout sculpture competition. ARTIST PROFILE: Born in Sydney in 1958, Nigel White is a Postwar & Contemporary artist who was awarded a Diploma of Visual Arts from the Sydney College of Arts. Known as a sculptor and printmaker, he has exhibited in Sydney and Melbourne in solo and group from 1982. Works by Nigel White are held by the National Gallery of Australia and Art Gallery of NSW.

The maquettes (x3) were created as proposals for the Walcha roundabout sculpture competition.

The artwork plaques for works were made possible by the Foundation for Rural & Regional Renewal (FRRR)’s
Strengthening Rural Communities Program, supported by Arts North West.
