This ride has been inspired by the notoriously difficult Hunt 1000; which travels from Canberra to Melbourne.
The Super Jambo Grom Pre aims to create a more accessible but still challenging 1000km route that is not limited to the elite cyclist. Targeting the event to a wider audience, looking to highlight the growing diversity of the bike industry
The route consists of 70% off road terrain using country roads, fire trails, the bicentennial trail, and single track. Resupply every couple of days though the New England townships and enjoying the unique landscape of the Northern Tablelands.
Closer to the date the route will be released. This route will be free without Points Of Interest (POI’s) included on the route. For those who would like the full details of resupply, water sources, camping options and more detail. This can be purchased for $100 at the same time as the route being released.
FRIDAY brings the Walcha Cup. A day of glamour, racing and picnicking under the shade of the Elm Trees on the concourse, legacy tree's left by previous committee members, highly appreciated by today's patrons on a hot summers day.
